Transform the appearance of your Humvee with our premium truck bed shell, designed to deliver an iconic, fastback-style profile.
No compromises were made in the design, features, or construction of this system. The bed shell is fully compatible with our Fixed Top and can be configured with or without our Fixed Back panel, allowing you to choose between a fully enclosed cab or an open pass-through between the cab and bed area.
Installation utilizes the factory threaded mounting points in the C-pillars and requires drilling mounting holes in the bed for final attachment.
The result is a unique, high-end appearance that sets your Humvee apart while integrating seamlessly with the rest of our top system.
Fully Welded Shell
The sides and bridge section are fully welded into a single-piece assembly. While this approach is more costly to manufacture, it creates a stronger, more rigid structure and eliminates many of the potential leak points commonly found in bolt-together designs.
The shell features tempered, tinted glass windows secured with Trim-Lok® seals.
Structural Headliner System
Our Structural Headliner System is a unique feature designed exclusively for this top kit.
The system utilizes aluminum headliner panels (shown in orange) that can be easily painted, powder coated, or upholstered to match your interior. The panels attach to pre-installed mounting brackets using finished hardware, creating a clean, professional appearance.
Unlike traditional fabric headliners, these aluminum panels form a rigid hollow-core structure that adds strength and rigidity to the shell while providing a premium finished look.
The hollow cavity between the roof and headliner can also be insulated, helping to reduce heat, cold, and road noise for a more comfortable driving experience.
Custom Concealed Hinges
Our rear hatch features custom concealed hinges that were designed and manufactured in-house exclusively for this system.
Unlike traditional external hinges, these hinges are mounted inside the shell, creating a clean, streamlined exterior appearance while protecting the hinge mechanism from dirt, moisture, and the elements.
Designed to be both compact and exceptionally strong, the hinges maximize interior and cargo space while maintaining the structural integrity required for long-term durability. Constructed from heavy-duty powder-coated steel, they are built to withstand years of use. Integrated polymer bushings provide smooth, quiet operation and long service life.
Gas struts are included to assist with opening and securely hold the hatch in the open position, providing easy access to the cargo area.
Rear Hatch
The rear hatch is secured using dual automotive-style striker pins and operated by a lockable push-button latch actuator, providing reliable operation and enhanced security.
The hatch structure is fully enclosed, keeping all latch components and internal mechanisms hidden from view for a clean, finished appearance and ridged structure.
Unlike many kits on the market, our design includes a dedicated pull handle that allows you to comfortably and securely pull the hatch closed. No awkward reaching or grabbing the edge of the hatch.
The hatch opens wide enough to provide access to the cargo area while remaining within reach for most users, making loading and unloading gear quick and convenient.
The rear hatch features a large tempered glass window with a tinted finish that is secured by a Trim-Lok seal.
The result is a secure, easy-to-use hatch system that combines premium functionality with a clean, factory-quality appearance.

Tailgate Compatibility
Tailgate Compatibility
This kit is designed for use with an OEM Humvee or Hummer H1 tailgate.
Minor modifications will be required to lower the tailgate slightly, providing the necessary clearance for proper rear hatch operation.
We are currently working on a new tailgate design that will work the the Truck Bed Shell.
Top Compatibility
Top Compatibility
he Truck Bed Shell is designed exclusively for use with the Pipe Dream Off Road Fixed Top and is not compatible with our Removable Top or tops manufactured by other companies.
If you purchase a 4-Man Cab with our Fixed Top, you can add the Truck Bed Shell at a later date without replacing your existing top system. This allows you to upgrade your vehicle over time while maintaining full compatibility with the Pipe Dream Off Road platform.
